| Profloc® F Profloc® F is an iron based coagulant used for treatment of drinking water and wastewater. Profloc® F has an optimum coagulation pH range of 4.5 to 8.5 compared to aluminium sulphate (alum) at 5.5 to 7.5. Profloc® F has been used to replace alum in some Australian water treatment plants to reduce aluminium residuals in the drinking water supply. Other benefits over alum are as follows:
