How sodium hypochlorite is manufactured

Orica ChlorAlkali produces sodium hypochlorite by reacting chlorine gas with liquid caustic soda under carefully controlled conditions in a packed tower. The chlorine and caustic soda used in the production of sodium hypochlorite is produced in our membrane electrolytic cells ensuring the sodium hypochlorite is of the highest quality.
